Growel feeds, a leading shrimp and fish feed producer in the country signed an MoU with M/s. Menon Renewable Products newly developed functional feed for shrimp “NUTRIVA F15” which has an innovative patented ingredient was launched on 13th August, 2018. Presently Growel Feeds exports its feed products to around 12 nations.
MEGHALAYA RUBBER FARMERS SENSITIXED ON ‘PRODUCTIVITY ENHANCEMENT THROUFH PISCICULTURE‘
A one day training programme on ‘Productivity enhancement and extra income generation fro rubber growers through fisheries’ Guwahati in collaboration with Central Inland Fisheries Research benefit of farmers of Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya on 18th July, 2018 at Conservation Training Institute (CTI), Byrnihat, Meghalaya.
The main objective of the programme was to train and sensitize rubber farmers to take up scientific fish culture in the unutilized water bodies. The participants were sensitized on the basic principles and practices of Pisciculture, seed production and nursery rearing of fish seed and prospects of pen and cage aquaculture in larger water bodies.
